ERYC Parking Concessions 2020

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has agreed a free Sunday parking concession which will operate in all East Riding of Yorkshire Council off-street car parks and on-street parking areas in Bridlington, Flamborough and Hornsea.

COMMUNITY SPEED WATCH - VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED

Hornsea Town Council recently agreed to take the lead in establishing a volunteer group to operate a Community Speed Watch scheme in Hornsea. A minimum of 6 volunteers are required to kick start the scheme - 4 willing residents have already agreed to take part and the Town Council would like to hear from anyone else interested in joining the group. You will need to commit to a 1 hour desk based training course followed by roadside training, both provided by Humberside Police (date/time/location tbc). Following training the volunteer group will carry out speed checks on vehicles at various points within the town. METAL DETECTING

Hornsea Town Council does not allow the use of metal detectors within Hall Garth Park. Anyone searching on land without permission is committing trespass. Anyone removing objects from land without permission is committing theft. It is illegal to use a metal detector on the Scheduled Monument area within Hall Garth Park without permission from English Heritage. Holes in the ground left following excavation are a danger to other park users.
