Hornsea Town Council does not allow the use of metal detectors within Hall Garth Park. Anyone searching on land without permission is committing trespass. Anyone removing objects from land without permission is committing theft. It is illegal to use a metal detector on the Scheduled Monument area within Hall Garth Park without permission from English Heritage.
