Positioned on the seafront boasts a full size swimming pool, children's pool, squash courts, sauna and steam rooms, exercise facilities with trained instructors, a sports hall, function room and cafe/bar facilities, with plenty of parking on site and nearby.

Honeysuckle Farm

Just a mile from Hornsea Town Centre, has 46 acres of grass and woodland with sheep, horses, including shires, and a host of other farm animals. Children are very welcome and are encourages to help at feeding time.

Hornsea Golf Club

Described as 'The most prestigious golf club in the East Riding of Yorkshire', an 18 hole, 6,685 yard course. It is open 7 days a week and has an excellent clubhouse and professional shop.

Yorkshire's largest freshwater lake covering many acres. You can enjoy rowing, sailing, fishing, motor boat trips, and bird watchers will be fascinated by the many species of bird that frequent this nature reserve.

Hall Garth Park

A beautiful park containing a free skatepark specifically designed to suit skaters of all abilities without compromising on fun. Not only are skate boards welcome here, you can also rollerblade or jump the ramps on your BMX. Plus there's a fantastic play area for the younger kids and outdoor gym equipment too. It is also perfect for a stroll or picnic, have a closer look at the gates when entering - it has your name on it.

Hornsea & District Indoor Bowls Club

A warm welcome greets members and visitors for indoor bowls (league and social), dancing, bridge, functions, dining, music and social nights and much more. With six rinks, the light and airy club is regarded as one of the top clubs in Yorkshire for facilities and friendliness. Coaching available.

Hornsea Folk Museum

Situated in Newbegin. The farmhouse kitchen, living room, bedroom and dairy are displayed as they were 100 years ago. Craft days are held during the summer months to which children are welcome, and occasional demonstrations of lace-making and spinning are held in the museum which is open from Easter to November. The museum is home to a very large collection of the world famous Hornsea Pottery.

A Blue Flag Beach

On Hornsea's "BLUE FLAG" beach you can do as much or as little as you like. While the kids can collect shells, hunt for crabs or build sand castles, you can relax on the golden sand and watch the waves. The recently renovated award winning promenade is the perfect place for a leisurely stroll. There are pleasant garden areas, a cafe and a superb water feature that kids will love to paddle in.
