2025 Band Concerts

We are happy to confirm the dates for this years Band Concerts, which will take place in The Memorial Gardens, Railway Street. Sunday 1st June - East Riding of Yorkshire Band. Sunday 20th July - Driffield Silver Band. Sunday 31st August - Beverley Brass Band. The Concerts will take place between 2pm and 4pm and are open to all, with no admission charge. In the event that the weather stops them taking place outside, we are very grateful that the Methodist Church, Newbegin have agreed for us to hold them there. Read More...

Spring is just around the corner (hopefully) and the grass cutting season is almost upon us. With this in mind, we kindly request that anyone who owns a burial deed at either the Southgate or Edenfield cemeteries carries out checks to ensure that prohibited items have not been placed on grave plots. Any permissible memorabilia place on grave plots should be kept within the curtilage of the headstone base in any case, ie, not on the actual grassed/soil plot. Read More...

METAL DETECTING

Hornsea Town Council does not allow the use of metal detectors within Hall Garth Park. Anyone searching on land without permission is committing trespass. Anyone removing objects from land without permission is committing theft. It is illegal to use a metal detector on the Scheduled Monument area within Hall Garth Park without permission from English Heritage.
