Edenfield/Southgate Cemeteries

Glass, cans, bulb planting, vases, large shrubs etc are not allowed on grave plots, a full list of prohibited items can be found in the Cemetery Rules and Regulations booklet given to you at the time of deed purchase/transfer. If you require a replacement copy of this booklet or any additional information on rules governing our cemeteries please contact the town hall office - 01964 532252. Prior to commencement of the grass cutting season (early April) an inspection of both cemeteries will be carried out and any unauthorised items will be removed and stored for collection. Items are removed for the safety of contractors and town council staff working in the cemetery, for the safety of visiting family and friends and to avoid accidental breakages which may cause upset and distress.
